Hardware can move.
The interaction still needs engineering.
A robot conversation crosses several systems: speech recognition, model responses, retrieval, memory, speech output and hardware state. Someone must decide what happens when a visitor interrupts, a source is missing or an action fails.
IronHeart’s proposed product is the shared runtime and control plane for those decisions: compose modules, define policies, version the configuration and inspect the resulting interaction.
Who it is for.
Robot OEMs and integration teams building human-facing robots. Captcha’s public-event and classroom work provides a concrete starting point for evaluating conversation, attention and operator control. These field settings are not a claim of paying customer adoption.
Why this layer.
Our thesis is that better individual models do not remove the need to coordinate them with people and hardware. The opportunity is to turn integration work into a reusable product while leaving embodiment-specific control with the hardware adapter.
What it needs to outperform.
The practical alternative is a team assembling speech, models, retrieval and robot middleware itself. IronHeart must earn its place through measured integration effort, interaction quality, failure recovery and operating cost—not a claim to replace every model or robotics stack.
Inspect what exists.
Captcha research platform
CNN and Reuters reported on Captcha in a German classroom in December 2024. NDR’s April 2026 report documents a simulated oral examination. The team also provides footage from CES.
Evidence of field demonstrations, not recurring revenue, independently benchmarked reliability or accreditation.
IronHeart Studio
A module builder, personality controls, sample knowledge and memory, versioned demo configurations, and an inspectable conversation timeline.

Hidoba Research
IronHeart is developed by Hidoba Research. Captcha’s research history and existing Hidoba service documentation are available separately from the proposed IronHeart API.

Sell the runtime.
Scope the deployment.
The proposed commercial model has three delivery paths: usage-based Cloud API access, hardware-scoped Edge & Offline licenses, and negotiated Private Cloud agreements. Supported modules, data handling, support and delivery obligations must be agreed for each integration.

Studio is a product demonstration, not a production API subscription. It does not accept payment or issue a production license. Captcha event rental is a separately scoped service enquiry, not evidence that the software business has recurring revenue.
From a demonstrator
to repeatable integration.
These are development priorities, not completed capabilities or dated delivery commitments. Budget, sequencing and acceptance targets belong in the round discussion.
Connect the runtime.
Deploy an immutable configuration through a real adapter; verify acknowledgement, errors and rollback against the target system.
Validate private context.
Test workspace and end-user isolation, knowledge processing, consent, retention and deletion with connected services.
Measure field performance.
Record hardware and test conditions alongside response latency, interruptions, recovery and operator interventions. Separate measured traces from simulation.
Prove repeatable delivery.
Evaluate integration effort, ongoing usage, cost to serve and partner willingness to pay. Confirm the support and licensing model before self-service production sales.
